This photo of my dear daughter was taken during the traditional Dutch celebration of Sinterklaas. The picture says it all - simple joy! In less than two weeks, we will be HOME to celebrate Christmas with my family. I am starting to introduce my daughter to the concept of Santa Clause but I think she is still a bit confused about it. In fact she sings "Sinterklaas is coming to town". Oh well.
I am just counting the days till we board the plane but on the other hand I am really up to my neck at work, wrapping up stuff before I leave for my big holiday.
Every year when we visit the Philippines, we make it a point to explore a new place in the Philippines, preferably the up and coming destinations. We discovered a new diving destination somewhere between Bacolod and Dumaguete. I hope we will not be disappointed.
I guess this will be my last post for the year, 2008. What can I say? 2008 has been quite demanding but in general a very good year with new opportunities, friendships, travel opportunities and good health for my family.
