I am happy to know that some of our friends have tied or tying the knot this year, three in fact. It's been quite awhile I have been to a wedding.
We're attending a friend's wedding the day after we arrive home, and the invite said "strictly formal/Barong Tagalong". So we will still have to shop for a Barong Tagalog for hubby! He is somewhat uncomfortable wearing a Barong. He has worn one before for a formal event at the embassy and he was really glad to take it off at the end of the day.
While the other invite suggested "Bohemian, anything comfy, funky, hippie...strictly no Barong!" This really sounds a lot of fun.
