It has been some sort of a tradition that we spend the Easter holiday in the UK, a place my husband and I consider as our second home. Easter is a time for us to be with the family and bond with old friends. It is likewise an opportunity to meet new acquaintances. Easter for us is a time to relax, spend much time outdoors and appreciate what Mother Nature has to offer. No serious sightseeings, no fixed itineraries, just pure relaxation, great company and good home cooked meals. As what my Mexican friend (we invited her to join us on this trip) observed, we feasted as if there was no tomorrow!

For this Easter, we decided to book several holiday caravans near the coast somewhere in Somerset. The weather did not fail us so we spent a lot of time outdoors.
It was our daughter's first trip to the UK so it was a nice "homecoming" for us. We brought her around London and judging by her excited screams, she loved the city life as well. Perhaps when she was still inside my tummy, she could hear all the familiar sounds whenever I was in London.
