Almost There

I have finally reached the most awaited moment, my ninth month. Between now and the next few weeks, I have to be ready any time to be wheeled down to the labor room. Friends and family would always tell me, it will soon be over. Right, as if labor is a very appealing prospect to end this all.
I didn't realized that there is a huge difference between the 8th and 9th month. I was okay until my 8th month. Now I feel very pregnant, heavily pregnant! I start walking like a duck too. My husband would tease me that I am starting to draw some attention because suddenly strangers are making random conversations about my state of pregnancy--from the shopkeepers, supermarket customers, waiters/servers, or just random people.
I must say that I immensely enjoyed the experience of being pregnant (and the pampering that comes with it!). I think if there is another person more fascinated than I am, then it would be my husband, who made sure to take a lot of belly pictures every step of the way. However, after carrying so much weight for the last months, I am just looking forward to be back to my "normal" self again.
I look forward to...
* ...finally see, hold, touch and kiss our baby.
*...see my toes again while standing
*...drink wine
*...eat sushi, sashimi and brie
*...walk with grace
*...wear normal clothes (i had fun wearing maternity clothes though--they are much more fashionable nowadays)
*...sleep on my back
*...visit the spa and sauna
*...the visit of my mom
My husband and I have been waiting for this moment. We are ready...ready as we can ever be. Hubby even bought a bubbly eagerly awaiting the time when he can pop this out and celebrate. Hopefully, after the labor we will have enough energy to enjoy even a sip.
